Poppies Gifts is a locally owned well-established fun, colorful boutique gift shop specializing in unique gifts for all occasions, in house monogramming, jewelry and so much more! With a huge customer following locally and nationally, Poppies is a lively, fast paced high energy environment currently searching for Assistant Store Manager to help maintain daily store operations. We are a growing small business looking for the perfect team player that will work hard to grow the business with the understanding that our success will be your success!

Qualifications: 
• Have at least 3+ years of retail experience
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task, able to make decisions in the best interest of this small business
• Be customer service and sales driven
• Have an outgoing, lively personality to provide customers with a great experience
• Have experience and string knowledge of social media
• Be available on weekends and/or for special store events
• Possess management, leadership qualities
• Be highly organized and detail oriented
• Technology savvy to understand POS and inventory system

Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service
• Be a team leader that creates positive, energetic work place
• Motivate the team for successful selling
• Plan, organize and promote store events, sales and promotions etc
• Manage employee schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of store
• Train and coach new employees
• Manage social media accounts by creating content, promotions and growing this platform.
• Manage unboxing, tagging and merchandising product
• Able to take on new challenges even without direction
